Students (ages 5-7) are having a blast creating gadgets based on their interests, from axolotl-inspired cars to portable flashlights. They've worked together by using their imagination to design cars that looked fun and unique, inspired by the axolotl's playful features, and the flashlights focused on making something simple and easy to use.
The students have so much fun collaborating, learning how to work as a team, and engineering something they can actually use. Each session is an exciting and hands-on experience where students get to be creative while building something practical and enjoyable.

Channeling their love of axolotls, girls design and build 3D-printed cars that prove engineering is even more fun when it starts with something you're passionate about.

Girls assemble 3D-printed, wrist-actuated assistive devices, discovering firsthand how engineering can directly improve someone's quality of life.

Girls dive into industry-standard design software, building the digital skills that turn ideas on paper into precise, engineered solutions.

Girls tour the Silicon Synapse Lab and Monaghan Lab at Northeastern University, getting a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge research — including real axolotl science that connects directly back to their interests.
